A fascinating insight and fund of information into 1920’s theatrical performances and the world of the theatre, with many reviews and anecdotes, each volume includes a copious index, which makes for easy cross referencing. Presented for sale are a 6 volume run [1922-1927] of a publication that ran to 11 volumes, continuing until 1932. Sir John Gielgud gets a mention in one of his very early stage performances; a 1924 production of Romeo and Juliet!
