Sir Albert Edward Richardson (1880 – 1964) was a leading English architect, teacher and writer about architecture during the first half of the 20th century, Professor of Architecture at University College London, President of the Royal Academy. As an architect he designed the Manchester Opera House (1912) and worked on the 1930s repairs to Ripon Cathedral.
A handsome set, with an interesting provenance, bound by a notable binder.
